I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and my parents loved to dress me up since I was a little boy. Any special event...birthday, religious celebration or special outing was an opportunity to dress up and I loved it!

My entrepreneurial grandmother, Gloria, owned a dry cleaning business and sewed double-knit dresses in the evening to earn extra money. In the first grade, she was the first to teach me to respect and care for my clothes.

I was very fortunate to attend Jesuit high school where they taught me the importance of looking and dressing my best each day.

​

When I moved on to study at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, I began to explore my own creativity and with my limited budget, built a wardrobe of locally sourced vintage clothing.

After graduating from film school with a degree in production and screen writing, I worked on several independent films in NYC. I had found my calling of creating. 

​

Fashion then found me and I was recruited to begin my career in the industry at one of the most prestigious stores in the world...Bergdorf Goodman's Men's Store.

 

When I was originally hired, I told management that I planned to stay for a year and then move on to making motion pictures. What I did not know then was that I would fall in love with men's fashion and would dedicate my career to this field.

 

I spent the next 24 years at Bergdorf, building my knowledge of sartorial history, luxury clothing and fine tailoring as a men's luxury specialist, personal stylist and  shopper. I am honored to have been mentored by many of the world's most respected men's fashion industry veterans. While there I worked with some of my very favorite brands including: Giorgo Armani, Versace, Etro, Issey Miyaki, Prada, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Turnbull & Asser, Brioni, Attolini, Cuccinelli, Zegna, Ralph Lauren, Kiton, Stefano Ricci, Tom Ford, Berluti, Isaia, Oxxford and Belvest. 

 

I thought I would ride out my career in this iconic store, but was lured away by Dolce & Gabbana to head up their made to measure program in the US and Canada. I spent two and half years doing this from the Madison Avenue Flagship and traveled all over North America servicing my clients.

 

I loved the consultation process and offering my clients the highest level of customer service, but missed working with the many varied brands I had grown to love. It was at this time that I began doing independent consulting, which allowed me to work with men of any age, shape or style to secure pieces for them and build wardrobes for them from my favorite brands.

 

In March of 2021, I left New York City to pursue new opportunities from my new home base...Miami, Florida. It is here that the majority of my clients reside, but I travel wherever they need me... to keep them looking their best.
